We really need your help, folks! Our club has lots of behind-the-scenes activities that do not take much time but need to be done reliably in order to keep our club alive and healthy. A few years ago, there were lots of “busy bees” in the club. We have gradually lost some of those great helpers without finding replacements, and now some of our board members are doubling or tripling up on their duties.
Some members have indicated a willingness to help - we need you to step up and find an area where you can take over. As a thank you, we will add on 3, 6, or 12 months to your current membership when you serve the club for the same amount of time. We need help with advertising, special events, raffle tickets, newsletter articles, mailings, fund raising, we need board members, and we need people to go out to the local street fairs and markets and promote our club.
Please, please consider what you can do to help this great club continue. We cannot afford to burn our remaining volunteers out, and keeping it going is not hard with many hands, but an incredible challenge for a few hard-working people to keep up month after month. So please, do contact our volunteer coordinator and have a chat about what you would like to do.
