River City Bluegrass Festival

The RiverCity Bluegrass Festival made its debut in January, 2005 at the Oregon Convention Center. The event was structured to offer approximately 70% bluegrass music and 30% acoustic Americana, such as folk music, Texas swing, Gospel and Country music. Since that weekend we have established a tradition of great performers at each and every festival.

The Festival is an interactive, community oriented event with many attendees bringing their families and instruments to play (referred to as jamming) in small groups throughout the Festival. There is always something to hear. Workshops for those who want to learn from the masters are offered at no additional charge.

1st Tuesday Music Night

 

Music Nights are free, and open to members and the general public. We offer live bluegrass and folk music beginning at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of every month.  Our opening spot gives upcoming bands the opportunity to perform for an appreciative audience. And, at 8:00 we feature one of our many talented San Diego and SoCal bands.   Come join us for a great evening of music.
